Audi UK developed a business case to move its Fleet operation to the Agency model. Once this was approved, the senior team ‘pressed the button’ to start a programme to deliver the large and complex change.
Certain elements of the exercise were commercially sensitive and that is reflected here.
Given the scale of the change, Audi required external programme management support to work with their teams from design through to implementation.
We ran kick off workshops with the teams which provided the material we needed to establish a programme organisation and a high level plan. The programme comprised ten work streams and touched all parts of the Brand. We worked with the sales specialists to design a blueprint for the Agency Model as it applied to the UK and to the Fleet segment. The team evolved the blueprint with the retailers and leasing companies, over several iterations until the end model was defined.
The successful transition took place on 01 April 2018.
